Bones have always held a connection. A connection to spirits, a connection to memory, and for those willing to listen carefully, the bones will share their whispers, messages and fragments with you that have long been lost.
Osteomancy, cleromancy, bone throwing and the cracking of bones are forms of divination that employ the use of various bones, stones, roots, shells and charms to gain insight and guidance.
This workshop is immersive and hands-on, being a comprehensive introduction to bone throwing. You will gain the knowledge and practical skills to create, deepen connection and read with bones as a form of divination.

Tracing the threads of bone throwing through different traditions and both historical and cultural contexts.
Learning how to approach your bones as living vessels of power- each one carrying its own breath, its own song.
Learning to develop and strengthen your connection and relationship with your bones, and how to feed and give them offerings.
Learning to walk and work with your spirits and your ancestors as they lend their knowing.
What is needed:
Participants are asked to bring their own set of bones. However, for those who do not have a set, a set can be purchased from us, which we will have waiting for you on the day.
