Much of what we think we know about the Irish Goddess Brigid is drawn from the stories and folklore of St Brigid. Indeed, for many Irish people and the Irish diaspora the Goddess and the Saint are one, or different expressions of the same Mystery.

Working through the compass of traditional and folkloric witchcrafts, inspired also by contemporary Craft movements such as Reclaiming, we will explore and celebrate the Mysterious One we call Brigid.

We will learn saining practices, traditional and contemporary chants and songs for the Goddess and the Saint. We will discover how She is honoured in different witchcraft traditions today.

With trance, aspecting, reflection, group process, invocation, and blessing we will call upon the Three Brigids of Smithcraft, Poetry, and Healing and discover what it means to be witnessed in our presence and power.
