The witch is commonly understood to be the consort of spirits and devils, to be the caster of spells and fixer of charms, to fly and journey through otherworlds and this world... we may also be seers and knowers and our Arts help us to refine our sensitivities to the spiralling nature of Time. Some of us may seek the Craft because we are perceiving spirits, because we dream true, because we know what is about to happen in uncanny ways, or can sense things about people and places that turn out to be right.
In this intensive we will explore various techniques that not only help us to powerfully step into the Witch's Ways of Seeing, Knowing, and Perceiving, but to do so elegantly and in grounded fashion.
We will learn how to raise our 'vibration' to that of certain spirits so we can co-perceive one another. We will learn how to open witch's 'eyes' and refine our senses so that when we touch something or walk into a space we can track its histories and emotions accurately.
We will learn the art of perceiving mystery and participating in the greater conversations and stories unfolding all around us that teach us about what might be around the corner in the spiral of Time. We will work with this spiral of Time in mystical ways to learn how to 'pierce through the veils' and perceive what has been, will be, or may become.
Fio Gede Parma (they/she) is a Balinese-Australian queer, non-binary witch, initiate, mentor, and award-winning author. They have authored or co-written and edited 8 books including The Witch Belongs to the World, Ecstatic Witchcraft, and Magic of the Pearl Pentacle. She has been initiated into four traditions of Witchcraft and their Craft can be described as intrinsically transgressive, anti-imperialist, love-drenched, justice-oriented, folkloric, and initiatory. Fio has taught the Craft and ecstatic spirit-work in five continents and regularly offers workings and courses online.
